What does the end kitchen board mean?

The end board is a board in which wood fibers are located perpendicularly to a cutting surface, instead of parallel, in usual boards.

 This type of board is most often used by professional chefs, because they have high strength and durability. The end surface is 1.5 times harder than the side surface. That's why it's so easy to work with meat, fish and other dishes.

This board is made of ash-tree. Additionally, there are silicone legs on the board, so that the board does not slip, but stands confidently on the table surface. The legs are screwed with stainless steel screws, which makes the board even more comfortable and high quality.

The treatment of our board is as environmentally friendly as possible - it is vaseline oil and melted natural beeswax. The board is immersed in a vacuum bath with Vaseline oil for 15-20 minutes, after which the melted natural beeswax is rubbed in, in order to close the pores of the wood and prevent food residues and food odors from entering. Thanks to this treatment, the board is easy to clean, just wipe it with a damp cloth.
