The pellet granulation line is complex high-quality equipment manufactured at the Artmash LLC enterprise. It is used for processing sawdust of various breeds, remnants of chipboard, MDF, straw, etc. in the production of pellets — an alternative fuel.

Mandatory components of the line are a granulator and a precise feed screw. At the client's request, equipment for preliminary preparation of raw materials (grinding, mixing) and processing of finished granules (cooling, screening, packing) can be added to them. Most of the lines are assembled individually, taking into account the allowed power, the dimensions of the production premises, the required productivity and other factors.

What does a complete pelletizing line include?

 Chip grinding complex
 

Converts wood chips of various sizes into sawdust, optimal for granulation. Works with raw materials with humidity up to 30%.

The complex includes:

  • hopper for chips with a capacity of 1.5 m3 or 3 m3 with the possibility of additional side extensions;
  • inclined belt conveyor with V-shaped scrapers;
  • chip crusher with a set of 64 4-sided hammers;
  • Aspiration with 3 bag filters:
  • a cyclone with an unloading sluice.

If the moisture content of the raw material exceeds 13%, the sawdust must be subjected to forced or natural drying before granulation.

  
 Auger dosing
 

Pours sawdust into the granulator in a thin stream or a wide stream, according to the needs of the granulator. Smooth adjustment is provided.

Depending on the selected granulator, we install the following screws in a line:

  • ShTP-0.6 – a compact model with wheels for granulators with a capacity of 7.5 kW-22 kW.
  • ShTP-ZK-0.6 is an analogue of the previous auger, but with an additional mixing function. It is used when it is necessary to mix several types of sawdust, add sunflower waste for better sticking of particles, etc.
  • ShTP-1.5 – model for 22 and 37 kW granulators. It is possible to install an additional head when it is necessary to increase the productivity of the line.
  • ShTP-3 is most often a 2-head version that simultaneously serves 2 identical (22, 37 each) or different granulators (22 + 37).
  
 Granulator
 

Processes raw materials into hard, smooth pellets with a diameter of 6 or 8 mm (international standard for fuel pellets).

Equipment with an engine power of 11, 15, 22 or 37 kW can be used in the line. If the productivity is not enough, install 2 granulators for parallel operation.

  
 Cooling complex
 

At the exit from the granulator, the temperature of the granules is 70–90° C, therefore, in order to instantly cool it and add hardness, a cooler is used.

It includes:

  • a noria or an inclined conveyor for taking pellets from the granulator;
  • cooling column with a capacity of 1000 kg/h or 2000 kg/h (model for lines with two granulators of 37 kW each);
  • a small noria or an inclined conveyor for reloading pellets onto the vibrating table;
  • a vibrating table with discharge into bags (if the granules do not need to be packed) or into a noria tray.


At the output, we get a dense granule, cleaned of dust and small fraction.

  
 Noria for the dispenser
 

A vertical bucket conveyor that takes the sifted granules from the vibrating table and fills the dispenser hopper.

We use 4 models, depending on the selected dispenser and line performance.

  
 Weighing dispenser
 

Pours the specified weight of granules into the container with an accuracy of 1.5 g. Suitable for containers from 2 kg to 50 kg with arbitrary steps.

We offer 2 models:

  • DV-0.6 with a small hopper (for lines of low productivity and cases when the dispenser is serviced by a separate operator);
  • DV-1.5 with a large hopper for ready pellets.

The elements of the line cannot be purchased simultaneously. Many customers started with a set of granulator + auger, and later purchased other components.

We do not stop improving our products, so customers can, for example, switch to rollers of a new model, buy additional aspiration or send old equipment for overhaul.
