Connecting the sensor The temperature sensor is connected to a special S-Bus connector, which is located on some ConnectHome devices. In the Z-Wave network, the sensor is displayed as a structural unit (endpoint) of the module to which it is connected. Data is transmitted to the control controller using Z-Wave radio commands. If it becomes necessary to connect the sensor after connecting the module to the Z-Wave network, you must first remove it, and re-add it after connecting the sensor. 5. Placement of the sensor When choosing the location of the temperature sensor, it is necessary to consider for what purposes it will be used. one. For measuring the air temperature in a room. The sensor is installed approximately at a height of 1.5 m from the floor level and at least 0.5 m from the corner of the room. The sensor should not be installed on external walls or other objects that may distort the temperature sensor data. Avoid places where the sensor can be exposed to direct sunlight or drafts, as well as splashing water and other liquids. The effect of significant heat generation on the sensor should be excluded. Please note that ConnectHome modules generate little heat, placing the sensor close to the module (less than 20 cm away) may distort temperature data. 2. To measure the air temperature outside. Locate the sensor in a location that avoids direct exposure to moisture and sunlight. 3.
