Diamond in a frame

This tool is a diamond in the shape of an octahedron, dodecahedron, octahedron, which is fixed in a steel mandrel. Diamonds in the frame are used in the final grinding operations to achieve a high class of accuracy and surface cleanliness of workpieces, as well as in profile grinding operations. Depending on the shape of the mandrel, diamonds in the frames are made of four types:

type 1 - cylindrical

type 2 - cylindrical with a head

type 3 - conical

type 4 - threaded
