The pectoral cross protects its owner throughout his life. On the front side of the cross there is a majestic image of the Crucified Savior Jesus Christ. Icon of the Mother of God "Burning Bush" - the central image of the turnover of the cross. On the icon, four rays with the symbols of the Evangelists symbolize the bush, the rhombus around the Mother of God is the flame of fire. A ladder is depicted in the hands of the Virgin Mary. This is a symbol of the fact that the Mother of God became for all people a ladder that connected Heaven with earth, along which God descended to earth. The icon is surrounded by an ancient prayer with lines from Psalm 90:  “He who lives in the help of the Most High will dwell in the shelter of the Heavenly God, says to the Lord: Thou art my Protector and my Refuge, my God, and I trust in Him,” which are translated as follows: “ He who lives with hope in the help of the Most High in the house of the Heavenly God will rest, (such a person) says to the Lord: my intercessor and my refuge, my God, in whom I trust.”
