Golden cross "Lord Pantocrator. Praise to the Mother of God" p01842 Onyx

On the front side, Jesus Christ appears as the Lord Almighty, the Creator of the world and its Terrible Judge, reigning in Heaven. The sky is symbolically represented by a golden circle, from which the crossbars radiate as rays. At the tripartite ends of the crossbars, in the image of the Holy Trinity, the highest angels are depicted, the first to stand at the Throne of the Lord - seraphim (with six wings) and cherubim (with four wings). Around are written the words of the Apocalypse: “I am the alpha and omega.” This is God's revelation that in Him is the beginning and the end of all things.

The shape of the cross symbolizes the four parts of the world, collected together, and the image of the connection of the earthly (horizontal crossbar) with the Heavenly (vertical crossbar). On the golden circle outlining the central Vladimir image, a prayer is written: “Open the doors of mercy for us, Blessed Mother of God.” .
