Maragojip is a variety of Arabica coffee, distinguished by its particularly large grain size, hand-picked on plantations in Central and South America. For the first time, this variety of coffee was grown in Brazil in the vicinity of the city of Maragojaip in the state of Bahia in 1876. The taste characteristics of Maragojaip coffee are close to those of regular Arabica from the same region, but its taste is richer. The drink prepared from this type of coffee has a balanced, rich, rich taste with citrus acidity, pleasant bitterness with a spicy aroma.
