The traditional image of the Crucifixion of Christ on the front side of the cross is complemented by icons of saints, whom the Orthodox people reverence as helpers in trade and business, as well as great healers and miracle workers.
St. Seraphim Vyritsky (1866–1949), the famous St. Petersburg ascetic, is depicted on the obverse at the base of the Crucifixion. St. Seraphim was a wealthy fur trader.
On the back in the center there is an image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
Blzh. Ksenia, whose image is at the bottom of the vertical crossbar. The merchants knew that whoever Ksenia took something from would never end up with buyers. But the holy wanderer did not agree to take alms from everyone, but only from the pure and merciful at heart.
To the left of the icon of St. An icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker is placed. John the New, Sochava (XIV century), revered as a healer and assistant in trade matters.
On the right side of the cross there is an image of St. Seraphim of Sarov (1754? – 1833). The saint reminded: “A person’s body is like a lighted candle. The candle must burn out and the man must die. But the soul is immortal, therefore our care should be more about the soul than about the body... "
