On the front side of the icon there is an icon of Jesus Christ, where He is represented in the image of the Lord Pantocrator, that is, almighty God holding in his hands the Book of Destiny of all mankind.
Standing before Him on both sides in deesis (praying for people) are the Most Holy Theotokos and the prophet John the Baptist, the Baptist of the Lord.
Above and below are the archangels Michael and Gabriel. On the back in the center  is the Guardian Angel, next to which are placed icons of saints especially revered in the Russian Church.
This is St. Nikolai Ugodnik, who is revered as a healer of diseases, patron of travelers, assistant in trade, study, family happiness, etc. Sergius of Radonezh, whose help is resorted to in various ailments, adversities, problems with educating children and as the  patron of warriors.
A prayer is written in a circle:  
“Save, O Lord, Thy people, and bless Thy inheritance.”
