Silver reliquary "Lord Pantocrator. Kazan Icon of the Mother of God" with blackening 132475 Onyx

The silver medium-sized reliquary cross has a quadrifolium shape, where a cross in Greek proportions with rounded ends is superimposed on the square. Similar forms of relics were common in Rus' from the 14th century.
On the front side of the cross is depicted the Lord Pantocrator, surrounded by four six-winged Seraphim - angels of the highest angelic rank, closest to God. Against the background of flourishing hearts and floral Edenic ornaments, the words are embossed: “I am Alpha and Omega.” This is a combination of the first and last letters of the classical Greek alphabet, which is the name of Jesus Christ in the Book of Revelation of John the Theologian, symbols of God as the beginning and end of all things.
On the reverse side is the image of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. On the inside of the front door there is a Maltese cross framed by flourishing hearts, as symbols of Christian love, for “God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16), and on the back of the second doors - prayer to the Lord Jesus “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, prayers for the sake of Your Most Pure Mother and all the saints, have mercy on us.”
The reliquary cross is not only a receptacle for holy relics. It also provides the possibility of storing a silver image of an icon of a saint - a heavenly patron or images of icons of great Orthodox saints, healers and miracle workers.
