The household radiometer RKS-20.03 "Prypiat" is designed for control of a radiation situation in places of residence and production activity of the population, and also control of existence of radioactive substances in foodstuff and samples of environment, other liquid and loose substances.
To determine the radiation purity of residential and industrial premises, homesteads, building materials, scrap metal and transport, a modification RKS-20.03/1 "Prypiat" is designed.
With the help of a radiometer you can measure:
• exposure dose rate of gamma and X-rays;
• equivalent dose rate of gamma and X-rays;
• beta particle flux density;
• specific activity of nuclides in food, liquid and bulk substances.
The radiometer may beep to indicate the presence of radiation.
