The main goal of using the math cube in primary school is to create such a system of teaching mathematics that will ensure the development of thinking of younger schoolchildren, spatial imagination, creative application of theoretical knowledge to solve specific problems, the ability to analyze and think logically. The course of demonstration geometry arouses the keen interest of students, providing motivation in the study of mathematics and geometry even in children who are not very successful in their studies. According to the proposed course, learning of geometric material is carried out in 3 stages: 1. For elementary grades: - composition of numbers; - unification of removable figures; - units of association to him; 2. "Cube-Square" didactic unit: - shapes of objects that make up a cube; - elements of the cube, their geometric shape and features of mutual arrangement; - volume units and area units; 3. Visual geometry: spatial and quantitative representations: -formation of a cube; - consideration of properties of area and volume, finding numerical values. Brief description and completeness of the model: The model is a wooden cube with a side of 10 cm, two faces of which have a grid of 1x1 cm, as well as 1 fragment of 10x10x1 cm, one of which is a tenth of the cube, 10 fragments of 1x1x10 cm, one of which is a tenth fragment of a cube 10x10x1 cm, 10 fragments – units of volume – 1 cm3. The set also includes a methodical manual that meets the technical conditions of TUH 32.9-37479822-004: 2013 and is considered suitable for operation.
